We love it when we find a cool product that has local connections! As a small business we try very hard to support other small businesses. That’s why I was so excited when a local mom reached out to me with her product.
Just last week the cutest mother of two stopped by the store to show me her product, Mama’s No Yuck. In very simple terms, it gets the ‘yuck’ out! Mama’s No Yuck is a 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, enzymatic cleaner in a bottle with a trigger spray. It has a wonderful scent that is clean and fresh that helps neutralize the odors! Mama’s No Yuck is perfect for getting out stains and eliminating odors (like getting the smell of vomit out of a car seat, for a yucky example!). This stuff really works! I tried it myself on some yucky grape jelly. Mama’s No Yuck dissolved the stain with no problem at all! You can use this spray as an immediate cleaner and as a pre-treatment for items that you’ll be washing.
Mama’s No Yuck is also dedicated to supporting local charities. A percentage of profits will be donated to a local charity. Love that!!

A few weeks ago Ben Rudnick of the Ben Rudnick & Friends band stopped into the store. Ben said, ‘do you want to hear my holiday cd? it would be great for the store.” Sure, I’ll listen to almost anything! Not knowing anything about Ben and his band, I popped the CD in started singing along.

That’s why I love places like Gail Ann Coffee shop in Arlington. Yes, it happens to be right accross the street from Wild Child, but that’s not why I love it.

We are so excited to announce that we have partnered with the Salem-based company, FashionPlaytes.com! You can now stop by Wild Child to purchase gift certificates to use on their web site. These gift certificates make awesome gifts for any little girl.
The cool thing about Fashion Playtes is that they’re a virtual design studio that enables girls ages 5-12 to play “fashion designer” online and create a customized line of clothing that is actually produced to wear. Basically, girls go onto their website (they’ll need some help from an adult too) pick out a piece of clothing and then embellish it as they want! When you get the clothes in the mail a couple weeks later it’ll even say the name of the little girl who designed it right on the label. They have a great selection of different clothing items from T-shirts, to dresses, skirts, hoodies, jackets and more.
