You may be able to put a baby in the seat soon with some support. An occasional short jog would probably be ok, and certainly brisk walking is great. But as you mentioned, it's not a jogger, so it really shouldn't be used in the same way that you would typically use a jogger. But, a few short jogs here and there would be fine. I don't have any other recommendations for other strollers similar to the CMGT, unless you'd like to consider the Bumbleride Indie. The Indie is not as compact (not as flat) as the GT.
