BabyJogger City Elite: my thoughts
Yesterday we got a Baby Jogger City Elite stroller on the floor. We’ve had them on the floor before but people seem to love them so much that we just can’t keep them around. This one’s here to stay for a while.
First of all it’s really easy to put together. Like most strollers out of the box, you really just have to put the wheels on. But with the Elite, it’s super easy…click on the canopy and put on the wheels and you’re ready to roll!
It also comes with a parent console-like attachment. Yes, really. This means you probably won’t have to buy something extra unless you need a spot for a really big drink…this one will hold your phone and keys and some other things just fine.
A few other things I like about it:
- the one handed fold! SO easy…gotta love it.
- adjustable handlebar – not all strollers have this, but it’s nice to have!
- the canopy – very generous and you can open these little air vents on the side that are kept in place magnetically.
- 75lb. weight capacity…you’ll get tons of use out of this stroller because it can hold bigger kids!
A couple things that I don’t love so much:
- The plastic-looking nose above the front wheel – it’s just not that cool or pretty looking.
- The “forever air” tires…what exactly does that mean?? Does that mean I’ll never get a flat tire? I think it’s a foam filled tire with a rubber coating…no air inside.
All in all this is a great stroller that is very easy to use and priced well.
Come take it for a spin and learn more!
